Active Long/Short Equity Mandate For Chicago Laborers and Retirement Board

The Chicago Laborers and Retirement Board Employees have open allocation search they are looking to fill by the end of 2013. CL&R are targeting a long/short fund of fund with $150M in AUM with at least a 2 year track record.

Chicago Laborers & Retirement Board has approximately $1.5B in total assets, of which roughly 8% is invested in hedge funds. They tend to prefer managers with at least a 2 year record and uses Macro Consulting Group to aid in manager selection and due diligence.
